Guild empowers Minnesotans living with mental illness and/or experiencing long-term homelessness by helping them build stable, fulfilling lives in their chosen community. We do this through a wide array of services that cater to each client’s unique needs because we know that mental illness looks different for everyone and that all of us are worthy of shelter, connection and stability.
From mental health crisis services, to street outreach, to housing and employment resources, our holistic approach empowers more than 2,000 Minnesotans annually to overcome challenges and build a better future — both for themselves and for their families and loved ones. When you support Guild, you're investing in hope, healing and belonging.
This November, a donation to Guild goes twice as far to support neighbors like Kathy, Jonathan and Laura.
Kathy is a talented artist and a child abuse survivor with borderline personality disorder. With support from Guild’s mental health and employment services, she found connection and healing and now lives a full and independent life that allows her to pay it forward and bring joy to others.
Jonathan remembers a time 21 years ago when his life felt chaotic and overwhelming. Hospitalized for bipolar disorder and facing legal challenges, he was struggling to regain stability. He connected with Guild, who helped him secure his own apartment, improve his finances, and find employment.
Laura's life took a devastating turn in the spring of 2014 when her mental health struggles led to the breakdown of her marriage. She found herself alone and facing an uncertain future but discovered a lifeline in Guild. With our team’s support, Laura has built a new life for herself, with systems and guardrails in place to protect her mental stability so she can focus her energy on her family and community.
Kathy, Jonathan and Laura’s are not alone in their experiences. Thousands of Minnesotans face mental health crises every day and require urgent care. And you can help.
This Give to the Max Day, your gift will go twice as far, thanks to a generous donor who will match donations this month up to $10,000. That means your donation will be doubled to help fellow Minnesotans and their families avoid homelessness, receive mental health care, find employment and create connections that restore hope.
