Greater Milan Initiative

The mission statement of GMI is-

"to foster healthy and welcoming communities, to promote a just and sustainable economy, to enhance the area’s arts programs, to protect and restore our naturallandscapes, and to support a vital future for all generations of the Greater Milan Community.”

GMI is the owner of the old Milan school building, which serves as the greater Milan area's community center. Our focus is on nurturing a sense of community by :

• providing a common gathering place for people of all ages and backgrounds
• giving opportunities for children and families to learn and play together
• enabling educational, artistic, entrepreneurial, and recreational talents to flourish

Your donations will help secure our building's sustainable future by making it possible for us to make necessary repairs and updates to it. This will, then, allow us to continue and expand upon our current programs for the community.
