Girls on the Run is dedicated to connecting girls to trained coaches who, using an intentional curriculum, help them discover their own limitless potential. 

Every day, society weighs our girls down with unrealistic expectations and outdated stereotypes. Independent studies have shown that by adolescence, girls’ confidence levels drop significantly.

It doesn't have to be this way. Girls on the Run gives girls a safe place where they can flourish and nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual health. With the world telling young girls who they should be, our community has an opportunity to encourage girls to discover who they are; a person filled with exceptional power and immeasurable potential.

At Girls on the Run we remain invested in our approach - to ensure access to the program by breaking down financial barriers and providing scholarships to girls who need them to participate, to recruit quality coaches and provide extensive training and ongoing support to ensure effectiveness and positive impact, and to provide quality curriculum that is developed by educators and backed by research. 

This year your gift supports the purchase of Hello, Mountain Mover!, the newest version of Girls on the Run curriculum, which will launch this spring. Using Hello, Mountain Mover, coaches will help girls to activate their I Can! Power. Throughout the season, the girls grow in their confidence to do hard things as they add more tools to their toolbox through lessons like Stick-With-It Strategies, Celebrating Mistakes, and Moving With Your Emotions. In the second half of the season, participants use their I Can! Power to practice taking on challenges and moving mountains like Sticking up for Others, Choosing Friends, and working together to make a difference in their community.
