Good Apple Initiative is a new, collaborative approach to transform the culture of public safety from fear and violence to trust and respect

Jaleel Stallings founded Good Apple initiative to bring together all the “good apples” across community, policing and justice to address systemic issues and make our communities safe for everyone. 

It's more than "just a few bad apples.” The issues we face are systemic and complex.  

However, good apples are an important part of the solution. Together, good apples can lead a cultural shift to strengthen relationships between our communities and our public safety systems; increase trust and integrity in policing and our court systems; and make our communities safer.

Jaleel has first-hand experience as an advocate, victim, suspect and defendant.

Unlike many in similar circumstances, who were incarcerated or killed, Jaleel is fortunate that he can walk away from his experience, but he is choosing to be a voice for those who didn’t get to walk away. He wants to equip us all to join together in changing the culture, so others don’t have to endure experiences like his.
