At Gateway Meadows, we provide equine-assisted therapeutic and coaching sessions that help people heal, grow, and rediscover purpose, guided by the calming presence of horses.

Our top priority is serving Veterans, free of charge. Through the generosity of donors, we’re able to make these life-changing sessions possible.

Sponsor a Horse (Gatlin)! 

It costs about $5,500 per year to provide feed, care, and veterinary support for one of our horse partners. Your donation helps ensure these incredible horses remain healthy and ready to serve those who have served us.

A gift of $75 covers one farrier visit for Gatlin, ensuring healthy hooves. (Farrier care is scheduled every six weeks.)

Veterans sessions are led by Army Nurse Veteran and Certified Coach, Kathy Friedrich, our one-on-one and group sessions help participants build inner strength, belonging, and resilience. We take a holistic approach, addressing the physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual components of health, because true healing involves the whole person.

While Veterans receive services at no cost and First Responders are offered a reduced rate, Gateway Meadows also provides individual and small-group sessions for the broader community, including organizational workshops. These programs help sustain our mission to keep services accessible for those who have served.”
