Friendship Academy of the Arts is a K-8 public charter school, with two campuses in the Standish and Longfellow neighborhoods of South Minneapolis. Our mission is "to educate children to be confident, creative, and competent citizens.” We educate the whole child, focusing on academic rigor, leadership, arts integration, and family/community collaboration.

Founded in 2000, FAA is among the most high-performing schools in the city of Minneapolis. In 2016, we were named a National Blue Ribbon School, and for five consecutive years, we have been named a "Beating the Odds" school by the Star Tribune.
