Friends of the Park Rapids Public Library Inc

Since 1981 the Friends of the Park Rapids Area Library has provided financial and volunteer assistance and support to the Park Rapids Area Library in the areas of programming, the book collection, innovative technology and the physical space.

The  Friends hold five used book sales each year. All donations are used to provide quality programs and services for our community.

Your gift to the Friends helps the Park Rapids Area Library serve the community by providing funding for activities such as:

• New Baby Book Bags for parents at the Park Rapids Hospital
• "1000 Books Before Kindergarten"
• Summer reading program for children
• STEM Saturday programming
• "Snow Time to Read" adult winter reading program
• "Take and Make" craft kits
• "Yesteryear" kits
• Smart Meeting Room

What you can do:

Support the Library and join the Friends. Become a member.

Make a donation. Gifts can be made in memory or in honor of someone special.

Buy used books at our ongoing used book sales.

Donate books to the Friends to sell at our used book sale.

Donations will be used to provide quality programs and services for our community.
