Friends of Mound Westonka High School

Our partnership with Mound Westonka High School supports both Staff and Students interests and needs. We focus on finding solutions that support everyone within the halls of MWHS.

Our Work:

We’ve created the Hawk Vault, a place where ALL students and staff can pick up supplies to help them through their day. This student resource room provides everything from deodorant and toothbrushes to school supplies and clothing - all for free!

Help ensure students have necessary supplies and their needs are met outside of school. 

Host an Annual Holiday Drive for make the Holiday Season brighter for Students and Families who need some extra help. 

Updated the Staff Lounge to make the space more inviting and usable. 

What is next?

Our next initiative is to provide support to staff, by assisting with supplies and educational needs not covered by the budget. We have school requests for our building, which will make our student's educational experience even better and need donor support to assist with these classroom enhancements.
