Food With Love

Preparing home-cooked meals for local families dealing with a seriously ill family member.

Food with Love, Inc’s current purpose is to provide a weeks worth of home-cooked meals monthly to local MN families dealing with a medical crisis. As we grow, we plan to help even more families monthly AND extend our reach into the community. We currently serve the greater Twin Cities area of Minnesota. We are just three good girlfriends who share a passion for cooking and sharing our foods with others. We are so glad you are here.

This all started in September 2014 when a good friend of ours found herself and her family in need of home-cooked meals while they dealt with a terminally ill child. We could only imagine how hard things would be for them. They were in and out of hospitals and appointments constantly, both parents were still working full time jobs while trying their best to keep a routine and a feeling of "as normal a family life as possible" for their family throughout it all. We did not have a lot of extra money around to feed them AND our own families, but we were not going to let that stop us from doing whatever we could for them. We decided to use our cooking skills to make a difference in their lives. Now, we host monthly cooking sessions where we, along with our volunteers, cook a weeks worth of dinners, in addition to a breakfast option, side dishes and a treat. We also invite  teen and/or adult volunteers to help whenever possible. By having these ready-made meals on hand, our current families in need can just pop a tasty meal right into the oven on those crazy busy nights so that they can focus on what is most important...their family. No prep, no fuss and its all home-made, from the heart.

And this is why we are here, asking you all for any donation(s) you feel appropriate. Donations raised will be spent buying groceries to prepare wonderful home-cooked meals for a very special family in need. We will cook monthly for our current "adopted" family until they no longer need our help. Then, we will find another family in need and continue to cook for them and so on.
