End of Year Campaign: Gifts to our 2023 campaign will support the completion of our new youth center, the hiring of new staff, and the dynamic programming that will make the center a cultural and educational hub. Fellowship is committed to investing in the mental health of our kids and teens. Our church will lead the way in teaching Black History and Culture as school curriculums are being gutted. 

More about the Youth Center: The new open layout design will create an inviting, contemporary, stylish, and culturally appropriate space for Children’s Church and Teen Church as well as a social and educational hub throughout the week. The Center will be a finished area of about 5,000 sq. ft. It will also function as a multi-purpose space for community meetings, intimate family gatherings, parenting classes, and more. The Youth Center will be a premiere space that will allow FMBC to serve more families and to meet the wellness needs of young people living in a world full of challenges. Parents and guardians were a significant force in encouraging expanded programming for youths because they have witnessed how effective youth ministries have been in the formation of faith and emotional wellbeing. A key feature is the therapy suite. The design of the suite as well as the entire Center is trauma-informed and welcoming and comforting throughout. Vibrant culturally-focused art and wall décor will create a signature look and brand. FMBC is committed to creating a healthy mind, body, and spirit for its congregants as well as the community.
