Would you like to help prevent homelessness? Would you like to provide food for our community's hungry children and youth?

Any day is a good day to give to Evergreen! Evergreen values your support. Community donations help keep our services free and accessible to community youth, parents, and young families. We welcome all gifts made on Give to the Max Day and Evergreen will happily accept your donation any day of the year. A tax receipt and acknowledgement will be provided. Your direct gift mailed to Evergreen allows us to retain 100% of your donation. Gifts may be mailed to:  Evergreen YFS, PO Box 662, Bemidji, MN  56619.  If you'd like the opportunity to learn about our work firsthand, please contact Executive Director, Ebony Warren, at (218) 441-4561.

Donations needed for our Housing Program: contact us at 218-751-8223. Wish List for apartment starter kits: dishes, silverware, cookware, bakeware, utensils, towels (kitchen & bath). Gently used items are welcome

Every gift helps:

A recurring gift of $10, $15, or $25 each month makes a large impact over a year's time. If a recurring gift works for you, we'll be happy to provide a year-end tax receipt with your giving total.

The Evergreen Safety Net of Services:

From emergency shelter to transitional housing, mental health counseling, an on-site nurse, and independent living skills, there is a safety net of services for runaway, homeless, and high risk children, youth, and young families at Evergreen. Our Evergreen Youth Services site is located in an apartment building that was designed for programs and services and our business offices, as well as youth apartments upstairs. In addition to on-site youth apartments on the upper level, our Youth Drop-in Center has warm meals, a shower, laundry, computers, as well as applications for jobs, housing, and mainstream benefits. We also have an apartment building across the street which has 12 units we utilize for our housing clients. We are a designated youth food shelf and can help homeless youth and young families with food bags, diapers, winter coats, clothing, personal hygiene items, and more. Please visit www.evergreenyfs.org for more information on our Youth Services site and Youth Crisis Shelter.
