At Edward Neill Elementary School, we serve a diverse community of about 370 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. With talented and dedicated staff, and support from parents and community members, we are focused on providing education that responds to our students’ needs, meets and exceeds state standards, and fulfills the mission of our district to make each student “real-world ready.”
Why a Laminator???We are raising funds to purchase a laminator for the following reasons:
- Laminators are expensive! A new laminator will cost us about $1,200.
- Our current laminator is over 20 years old. It still 'works' but is on its last leg.
- It might be surprising, but laminating is a big deal! Our teachers spend school and personal funds on items that they want to last a long time. If it's laminated, we can use it from year to year. A great example is activities that go in centers. These are used by students and can wear out quickly with frequent use if not laminated.
