Crescendo Youth Orchestra

If you're in a large school disrict, you might be lucky enough to have an orchestra program (maybe). CYO brings that experience to kids in Northeastern Minnesota. We're currently in Hibbing and Floodwood, and hope to expand to Chisholm, Cherry, Nashwauk and Southridge. We have three levels -- Prelude, Intermezzo and Encore -- and prices are a very affordable $56 per month. That includes lessons AND a weekly group rehearsal. We raise dollars to provide scholarships, because no student should let money stop them from musical joy! Each summer CYO holds a String Camp for kids ages 7-17. This is a week-long camp that is a perfect opportunity for beginners to experience string music for the first time! Finally, some of our Encore students participate in quartets.
