COPAL

Comunidades Organizando el Poder y la Acción Latina (or COPAL) is a Latine-led organization that seeks to build collective power, transform systems, and create opportunities for Latines to have a dignified life in Minnesota.   

We work within issue areas that impact our communities in the Twin Cities, Mankato, and Rochester the most, including Environmental Justice, Health & Wellness, Economic Empowerment, and Organizing & Leadership. Over the past few years, COPAL has been instrumental in the fight to make Minnesota a more inclusive place for all through our work to pass Drivers' Licenses for All, Paid Family Medical Leave, Cumulative Impacts Legislation, and more. Together, we are building a movement of leaders who believe every family in Minnesota deserves the opportunity to thrive!
