Fostering academic excellence and character development through the education of the whole person - mind, body and will.

Founded in 1995, Community of Peace Academy is an award-winning public charter school located in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood on Saint Paul’s East Side.  CPA currently serves a diverse population of over 800 students in preschool to 12th grade, of whom 85% receive free/reduced price lunch and 90% are students of color.

At CPA, our core values are:

  • Academic excellence. CPA students are prepared to thrive and to lead in a multicultural 21st century world with confidence, compassion, intelligence and positive regard for all.
  • Relationships. At CPA learning happens through relationships and thrives within a caring and value-rich community.
  • Peace. CPA is a diverse community of students, parents and staff dedicated to creating a peaceful school environment in which all members are treated with unconditional positive regard.

You can support CPA in any of the following ways:

  1. Donate to CPA's Angel Fund, which is used by our social work team to support students and families in crisis.
  2. Donate to CPA's Scholarship Fund, which helps make college a reality for deserving graduates.
  3. Donate to CPA's General Fund, which we will use to do the daily work of educating our students and helping them reach their full potential.

Thank you for your support of Community of Peace Academy. Your donations help us increase our impact on the community, and we couldn't be more appreciative.
