CAAM  Mission Statement

Chinese American Association of Minnesota (CAAM) is the oldest and largest Chinese American community organization in Minnesota. CAAM is non-profit and non-partisan with the mission to provide cultural, educational, recreational, and other programs to promote the cultural heritage and enhance the quality of life of Chinese Americans in Minnesota. This mission is being carried out through CAAM’s community service programs and by its divisions, CAAM  Twin Cities Chinese Language School and CAAM Chinese Dance Theater.

CAAM Chinese Dance Theater, “The Heart of Dance, The Soul of China,” is a non-profit performing arts and dance academy dedicated to preserving and honoring Chinese cultural heritage. We have brought the best professionally choreographed Chinese dances and stories to the Twin Cities area for the past 30 years. We perform not just to entertain but also to bridge cultural and artistic gaps to build a thriving, strong community in the greater Twin Cities population.
