Children's Hospital Association (CHA) is the only Minnesotan nonprofit dedicated to funding holistic pediatric healthcare programs and services for the children and families in our region. We're proud to be the largest cumulative donor to Children's Minnesota. CHA has committed to funding innovative, inclusive, and integral care programs for over ninety years. 

Last year, over 10,000 children in rare and challenging circumstances benefited from programs we funded at Children's Minnesota. These programs range from Child Life in the Emergency Room and Runaway Intervention to Music Therapy and Star Studio. Most CHA-funded programs are rarely covered by insurance and depend on our philanthropic support to remain available to Minnesotan kids and families. 

As funds to subsidize healthcare costs are reduced, your donation has never been as needed as it is today. Every child deserves comprehensive care, and every family deserves support as they seek the vital care their child needs. 

This Give to the Max Day, we're raising money through CHA to fund Child Life in the Emergency Departments at Children's Minnesota. In a setting that can be overwhelming and frightening, Child Life professionals ensure that children are not just treated but truly cared for. By preparing patients for procedures, offering emotional support, and helping families understand their medical journey, Child Life transforms the Emergency Department experience from one of fear to one of empowerment.
