IT TAKES A VILLAGE

Camphill Village Minnesota is part of an international movement consisting of over 100 communities throughout 20 different countries. We are part of a social initiative that creates communities designed to include people with and without intellectual disabilities. We strive to empower people to grow, learn, and achieve together. 

Our community is located on 525 acres of biodynamic farmland in Central Minnesota. Individuals with and without developmental disabilities live, family-style, in 4 large homes. 

Our Village aims to be as self-sustaining as possible with a strong agricultural component made up of farming and gardening. Craft work includes weaving, woodworking, and the arts as well as a licensed processing kitchen and bakery that provide for the needs of the Village and goods that are sold in the surrounding area.
