Camp Rainbow Gold Inc

There’s a magical place in the heart of Idaho and it is called Camp Rainbow Gold.  It’s a celebration of life!  It’s a place where cancer does not rule, but being a child does.  It’s a place where children have an inner light, an incredible viewpoint of life and wisdom beyond their years.  It’s an oncology camp, a sibling camp and a family camp.  It’s a teen support group, a winter retreat and a college scholarship program.  It’s a place where campers become counselors, counselors become camp directors, camp directors become volunteers, and volunteers become lifelong supporters.  It’s a partnership with more than 500 volunteers who help run our year-round programs.  It’s a partnership with St. Luke’s hospital system, including MSTI Pediatrics.  It’s a partnership with our Idaho community. 

 

Camp Rainbow Gold brings community, love and hope in the tough, trying and painful world of childhood cancer by improving the spiritual, mental and physical health of children and their families.  Connecting people with the outdoors in an unmatched setting and providing physical challenges provokes interest and inquiry, ultimately building confidence and enabling the campers to heal emotionally so their lives are not burdened by their illness, but instead empowered by their experience overcoming it. 

 

The programs at Camp Rainbow Gold seek to honor the individuality of each child by offering experiences that are diverse, thrilling and inspiring in the hopes that the children and families find a sense of peace, the opportunity to heal and a bond within this Idaho community.
