On November 16, join CAAL’s donors and allies in uplifting #MinneAsianStories of Solidarity and Pride

Our new series of 12 powerful #MinneAsianStories illustrates the nearly limitless diversity of experience for Asian Americans in Minnesota. Since 2013, the Coalition of Asian American Leaders has collectively affirmed our communities’ experiences of exclusion and invisibility and demonstrated impactful leadership that builds across communities towards equity, justice, and prosperity. Your support TODAY makes it possible – thank you!

As CAAL looks to the next 10 years, we understand that our vision for a just and joyful future where all Minnesotans, regardless of background, have the power to shape decisions that affect us and live with dignity in thriving and caring communities is more important than ever.

CAAL continues to harness our collective power to improve the lives of community by connecting, learning, and acting together. In 2023, thanks to your support and contributions, we:

  • Led advocacy efforts and stood alongside coalition partners to successfully support the passing of key Minnesota legislation earlier this year, including the Ethnic Studies for All, Nonprofit Infrastructure Grant Program, and Combating Hate bills.
  • Engaged parents, students, educators, and administrators in school districts around the Twin Cities to address anti-Asian hate through leadership support and movement building. Students amplify their voices, families connect to their schools, and administrators develop greater understanding of how Asian Americans uniquely experience discrimination.
  • Offered technical and financial assistance to support community businesses in their ongoing economic recovery from the pandemic through our Stronger Together Fund, a prolonged recovery that Asian American businesses and communities are facing around the country.

Our nation, state, and community are at a critical turning point.

“I know my choices are to remain silent and invisible or actively engage and resist. And I choose resistance every day.” - Anil, harness our collective power

Your donation today helps us build collective power and shape a more equitable future. Thank you!
