Bunce Performing Arts

Bunce Performing Arts tells stories of hope and encouragement to the communities we serve and offers access to theatrical opportunities to people of all ages through affordable, high-quality theatre productions. We cultivate the development, education, and advancement of performers and leadership teams with artists from all levels of experience.

Buying an expensive ticket to a show is a luxury some cannot afford. Therefore, it is Bunce Performing Arts' goal to provide a free outdoor musical theater production in the summer and affordable indoor theater opportunities throughout the year.  We also offer reasonably priced summer theater camps and after-school musical theater programs.

THIS YEAR, we are raising money specifically for our production of ANASTASIA THE MUSICAL.

We are looking for lights and sound equipment for Anastasia the Musical, taking place February 21-March 2, 2025 at Leopold's Mississippi Gardens.

Indoor shows are a newer undertaking for BPA, and renting a space to perform indoors has many more associated costs. These costs cannot always be entirely covered by ticket sales alone.

SHOW COSTS:
$2000-$3000: LIGHTS RENTAL
$1500-$2000: MICS RENTAL
$8000-$10,000: SPACE RENTAL
$10,000-$15,000: HIRED DESIGNERS & DIRECTORS
$7000-8000: PERFORMANCE RIGHTS & SCRIPTS
$3000-$4000: SHOW SET, COSTUMES, & PROPS
TOTAL COST: $40,000+
