Blair's Tree of Hope's mission statement is to help the families of children who are/have been hospitalized with a life threatening illness due to pediatric Cancer, pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant or pediatric Blood Disorder. These families spend weeks sometimes even months in the hospitals and we help them with gas cards, Target/Walmart cards, grocery cards, parking passes and much more. Since inception 7/31/2007 we have processed all of the applications that the social workers sent to us for these families.   Our current budget is set to help 175 families and yearly we surpass our budget. For the past 15 years we have made weekly visits to deliver Fruits, snacks, toiletries, gift cards, magazines and craft kits to the U of MN Masonic Children's Hospital and Minneapolis Children's Hospital for the families. We host Photo Shoots at the U of MN Masonic Children's Hospital. The families come and enjoy pizza, crafts, they laugh they smile of which we capture in the pictures. (there is no cost to the families for this fun time)For a little bit we hope they forget that they are in the hospital. Quarterly we come together with volunteers to sew pillow cases and chemo bags that are given to the children and their families. Our annual fundraiser is the Interpretations of Hope event which will be held on 3/18/2023 We are currently looking for sponsors and donations for our IOH event in 3/18/2023.  We will be revealing the Paintings that are done by children/kids of the families that BTOH has met over the course of the years.   We do hold other events during the course of the year which we announce on our website and social media.
