Bilingual Learning Center

Bilingual Learning Center is a nonprofit that brings together two languages, many cultures, in one amazing place! 

Children thrive in spaces that invite them to be creative, explore and learn. Our program strives to create a welcoming space where children from many backgrounds have the freedom to explore their creativity, story telling, reading, new interests and find support. Our programs are designed to give children the space, materials, and encouragement they need to grow.

For many families we have worked with in the past and present, enrichment activities, academic support, before and after school care, and support with their children is not accessible. Scholarships help bridge this gap.

These scholarships often make the difference in whether a family can enroll in a enriching program or needed care. By contributing to our scholarship fund, you’re helping children from all walks of life join us in a community where we all learn from one another. 

Your gift of any amount is a great support! All proceeds will fund full and partial scholarships for families in financial need. 

Our Mission is to prepare children from linguistically and ethnically diverse background for success in school and lifelong learning in a global society through after school programming. We envision fostering an enhanced learning environment that provides cultural and language enrichment that both honors and celebrates the diversity of Minneapolis. 

We support families by providing before and after school care in three different locations, welcoming students from Windom community School, MPS students, and Risen Christ Catholic School. Additionally we are open for many no school days and welcome many more students for a day of care. We also provide enrichment classes, and tutoring after school.
