Bemidji Community Food Shelf

We put food on tables in northern Minnesota!

For the past 41 years, BCFS has been providing emergency food support to thousands of families in our community.  In 2022 9,217 families consisting of 28,864 people came to the food shelf seeking help. We distributed 600,000lbs of food, a value of $1,125,000 to our community. As we come to the end of 2023 we are experiencing an increase of 20% in the number of people in need.  We are projecting over 34,000 people from 11,000 families will come through our doors.

We are here because of the support from our community, over 700 donors provide us with the resources to help our friends and neighbors. We are great full for their support and encouragement.
