Bach Roots Festival

With recent performances of Bach's B Minor Mass and St. John Passion described as "masterful" and "a gripping realization" (Star Tribune), Minnesota's Bach Roots Festival strives to transform the antiquity of baroque music into concert experiences of powerful relevancy. Led by conductor Matthew J. Olson, our roster of 50 Minnesota-based professional musicians present a 10-day summer music festival including Bach & Brews, Vespers, Family Concerts, and a Masterwork finale. 

In December of 2021, Bach Roots Festival will also mount performances of Handel's Messiah at venues across the Twin Cities metro.
