Atchingtan Learning Center (ALC) offers environmental learning experiences to groups or individuals, and also provides the opportunity to experience happiness, healing, inspiration, or solace within beautiful natural surroundings.
We have been welcoming people to the 30-acre site – which comprises private, unspoiled land surrounded by forest in Northern Minnesota – since 2013. We have hosted a number of different groups, including botanists, foragers, gardeners, permaculturists, yoga practitioners, belly dancers, herbalists, wildcrafters, artists, reenactors, and many more.
ALC provides sustainable land management education and natural experiences in a serene and private space to those who would otherwise not have access to them, and educates the public on the importance of environmental preservation through natural means. If you are looking for a site like ALC to hold your classes, or to attend classes, please contact us.
Girl and Boy Scout troops, and similar, who want a safe place to camp out and work towards badges – please contact us for availability.
