The mission of The American Aviation Heritage Foundation is to educate the public on the heritage of and significant contributions made by American aviation generally to the history and development of the United States.Through the restoration, display and operation of vintage aircraft our Foundation strives to present to the people of America the great story of the men, women and machines that opened the skies to millions around the world. We strive to present history accurately and to keep the truth alive, even as memories fade with the passage of time. “Lest we forget.” And most importantly perhaps, we recognize the need to preserve our proud national aviation heritage for the benefit of future generations of Americans.

PRESERVATION: Through the restoration and operation of classic,vintage and unique aircraft that have become an important part of our Country's history and heritage we actively strive to preserve what may be some of the last aircraft of their type in existence anywhere in the world.

INSPIRATION: We strive to inspire Americans to continue the traditions and heritage of aviation and to encourage people to actively participate in aviation-related activities which may be of benefit to themselves, their community and the nation.
