$50,000 Goal

The Aliveness Project continues to serve over 3,000 people living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS. In the nearly 40 years since our founding, we have grown to offer daily meals, food shelf, case management, mental health services, housing stabilization, harm reduction services, testing and free pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), which is a once-daily medication that greatly reduces the risk of HIV infection.

Your generosity links 3,000+ people living with and at highest risk of HIV to resources like:

  • Groceries & Household Items
  • Daily Hot & To-Go Meals
  • HIV Testing
  • Nutrition & Wellness Programs
  • Medical Care Linkage
  • Case Management
  • Medical Nutrition Therapy
  • Free PrEP
  • HRT access

We’re proud to share the incredible impact made possible by your support, which sustains our vital programs in a time of growing need. Our program accomplishments from last year are as follows:

  • Meal Program: We served 44,810 meals to 960 members.
  • Food Shelf: We distributed 286,488 pounds of food to 771 members.
  • Case Management: Our case managers assisted 465 members during 7,087 billable hours, including providing nutrition therapy to 179 members and successfully housing 146 members.
  • Outreach/Prevention: We administered 2,863 HIV tests to folks in high-risk populations and linked 63 newly diagnosed people to medical care and other social services. We distributed free PrEP (HIV prevention medicine) to 364 clients.

Together, we are creating a thriving and healthier community for all.
