Our Scholarship Model recognizes that not all families have the financial means to afford quality programming for their children and AKASPORT is looking for Scholarship Partnerships for these families in need. AKASPORT believes in providing Multi-Sport / Multi-Activity Variety - providing kids with more well rounded opportunities, in hopes of creating life skills while allowing kids to experience and get to know what they like, and what they don't. According to the American Pediatric Association, 70% of youth will drop out of sports participation or programming by the age of 13 due to cost and accessibility - it is our mission to change this model by offering scholarships at various amounts to cover these families in the communities we serve. 

On November twenty-first, I’m the day to give back,

A Donation of $180 provides a student scholarship to attend a semester of AKA After School Class

A Donation of $360 provides a student scholarship to attend a full semester of AKA After School Class

A Donation of $880 provides a teenager a scholarship for our Mentor Leadership Program (Speed of Play)

A Donation of $1,200 provides a child scholarship to attend a half Summer AKA Sports Camp

A Donation of $2,500 provides a child scholarship to attend a full Summer AKA Sports Camp

At AKA, we strive to keep kids active year round. Many times the kids and families that need us the most are those facing economic challenges. We have a vision that every child will have a fun and active program to participate in every day after school and in the summer. The impact is far beyond enjoyment and physical activity.
