A Night to Remember Prom

A Night to Remember Prom (ANTR) is a nonprofit organization created to allow special needs teens and young adults, ages 15-24, an opportunity to experience prom with their peers in a safe, secure, welcoming, and loving environment. Our Honored guests attend ANTR Prom MN free of charge. Our honored guests take part in tuxedo fittings, hairstyling, and makeup by professional cosmetologists, a plated dinner, a walk down the red carpet complete with a DJ, paparazzi, cheering fans, and of course the dance.

We pair our Honored Guests with a Student Host for the day's events. Student hosts are peer volunteers from the local area high schools and colleges. This provides a fun and safe environment, for our honored guests all while creating lasting memories for the Honored Guests and Student Hosts alike. In 2022 we host 89 Honored Guests, and 94 Students Hosts, among countless family members and community members who were all touched by A Night to Remember. 

2022 was our first prom as a nonprofit organization in MN. Many families shared with us that their child may not get invited to typical teenage outings. This is the one event their child looks forward to all year. “Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for everything the team did preparing and hosting the prom, it was a fantastic night!  As a family, we were blown away by the community’s generosity.  Our son Jack felt like a rock star, and he was still glowing when he came home from school yesterday!  I can't stop sharing the story with friends and family, the feedback has been amazing”.

 A Night to Remember Prom gives our Honored Guests a sense of acceptance and the feeling of unconditional love, all while making new friends and dancing the night away. Seriously, they dance until the last song has been played! 

 While there is much to be thankful for, with your help, we can meet our vision to have an even larger impact in 2023! Our plan is to grow A Night to Remember Prom in our community and immediate surrounding area in 2023. . Numerous communities have reached out to us with the hope of bringing A Night to Remember Prom to them. With your help, we can continue to grow into other communities in Minnesota for 2024 and make an even larger impact on our teens and young adults with special needs.
