The 622 Education Foundation is managed by a dynamic Board of Directors consisting of Independent School District 622 parents, staff, and business professionals, with the help of the community and youth in our school district.

Our Mission:

The Foundation was founded in 1996 with the purpose of creating, enriching, and expanding programs that enhance the quality of education of students in District 622.

The Foundation achieves its mission by directing support toward the following goals:

• Encouraging all learners to achieve their maximum potential.
• Building public awareness and confidence in the No. St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Public Schools.
• Involving the community in assuring quality education for the leaders and workers of tomorrow.

The Foundation provides critical programs in our community, including:

• The Angel Fund: This 622 Education Foundation's Angel Fund assists students whose families are in financial need .    These 622 students is qualify for free and reduced price lunch, an indicator of poverty. Imagine sending your child off to school without shoes or a winter coat. Imagine having a sick child and not being able to afford necessary medications. The Angel Fund helps fill this gap by providing each school with funds to assist students and families with basic needs that can come between a student and his or her education.
• Scholarships:  Scholarships awarded to students who demonstrate contributions to the community and an interest in working with youth.
• Technology:  Provides financial support for infrastructure, software and subscriptions, and ongoing maintenance.
