Manya believes that nonprofits are strongest when the people, processes, and resources behind them are thoughtfully supported. She loves bringing order to complexity and clarity to chaos so that the rest of the GiveMN team can focus on sustainable, confident impact across Minnesota. Coming to GiveMN in 2023, Manya brings a background in the arts, critical theory, and education that allows her to help problem solve creatively and make decisions that put empathy and community at the forefront. As Senior Operations Manager, Manya is passionate about building workplaces where strong operations empower mission-driven teams to do their best work!

Manya came to Minnesota in 2014 from Colorado to pursue a bachelor's degree in studio art, with minors in environmental studies and women's gender and sexuality studies from Macalester College. She fell in love with the community and outdoor recreation in Minnesota and never left. Outside of her work at GiveMN, Manya enjoys gardening, taking her dog for hikes and swims, reading, and just being outside (as long as it's not too cold).
