Hilary is excited to build strong relationships between GiveMN, philanthropic institutions, and our donor community by leveraging their relationship building skills and grant writing expertise.
Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., Hilary moved to Minnesota for college and has been getting to know the Twin Cities since 2019. They joined GiveMN with a strong background in nonprofit work and relationship building, having most recently worked on the grants team for Project for Pride in Living and as a podcast producer for the East Side Freedom Library’s Housing Justice team. Hilary has a knack for organization and detail and—as the strategic advancement associate for GiveMN—is committed to centering community and uplifting the voice of nonprofits.
With a bachelor’s degree in media and cultural studies and data science from Macalester College, Hilary loves thinking about the way the world works and how it could be different. When not imagining a more just future, they enjoy reading, discovering new music, and attempting the Sunday crossword.
