Maggie's School Give to the Max 2023!

Maggie started Kindergarten this fall at an amazing progressive-learning, nature-focused school. She has grown so much in the couple of months she has been there, and fallen in love with the school, as have we!

We are excited to fundraise during Give to the Max Day, because this day each year offers opportunities to receive extra grants based on donations received!

PCCS isn't a school that sends students home with a smattering of fundraising brochures for wrapping paper, chocolates, or the like, but they do rely heavily on ONE specific fundraising effort each year.  Give to the Max Day on Thursday, November 16th is when we come together to rally around our school through financial donations. We hope you will join us in giving a gift to Prairie Creek to help the school community reach our Give MN target of $50,000.  

Give MN fundraising is necessary because as a charter school, Prairie Creek is not able to take advantage of local levies. The money our school raises is used to support the progressive education program that Prairie Creek provides for our children and includes:

• smaller class sizes, 

• teaching assistants,

• our well-cared for grounds for playing and learning, 

• our school library,

• Art, Music and Spanish as specials every week, 

• a yearly Arts Residency,

• funds for field trips,

• teacher professional development, and

• project materials and curriculum.
