This year's Give to the Max Day marks an eventful year for Spout Press.
In March, Our longtime distributor (Small Press Distribution) abruptly closed, leaving many of our books unaccounted for in warehouses across the country. Several weeks later, we found our stock and setup distribution with Asterism Books, beginning a new era for Spout. This summer, John, Michelle, and Xander have been catching up on long-held goals for the press, including digitally archiving our historic magazine.
With your help, we are hoping to raise funds to:
- Recover hundreds of dollars in owed sales from Small Press Distribution and new distribution setup.
- Redesign our website and make it universally accessible.
- Fund our next three books, including competitive advances for authors and artists and book launch events.
As a small volunteer-run press, we can't fund these goals alone. Your donation will go directly to these goals. We hope you will consider helping us by donating and spreading the word. To incentivize giving, we have expanded this year's special offers for donors.
- For donations of $10 or more, you will receive a copy of Spout Magazine from our archive.
- For donations of $25 or more, you will receive a mystery book from Spout Press's backlist.
- For donations of $50 or more, you will receive a Spout Press stocking cap.
- For donations of $75 or more, you will receive a Spout Press stocking cap and a mystery book from Spout Press's backlist.
- For donations of $100 or more, you will receive all of the below (a copy of Spout Magazine, two mystery backlist titles, and a Spout Press stocking cap).
