Ben was the ultimate people person, a kind and generous soul with a true zest for life. Biking and building his own custom bikes was one of Ben's many interests. His dad still has the one Ben built him for his birthday.
To honor Ben's enthusiasm for adventure and bicycling, we've partnered with BikeMN to support their education programs:
- The Walk!Bike!Fun! curriculum reaches over 100,000 Minnesota school-aged children a year. Your donation will help purchase children's bikes so even kids' without access to bikes can learn to ride safely and have fun.
- The Adult Learn to Ride program helps low-income adults who may not have access to a personal vehicle learn to ride a bike. At the end of the 4-week program participants receive a refurbished bike, helmet, lock, and bike light.
Ben loved building and riding bikes, and we know if Ben were here he'd be helping to assemble and fix up these bikes for children and low-income adults. Your generous donation today will spread Ben's mechanical know-how, the joy of riding a bicycle, and the freedom of life on two-wheels.
