Due to Paladin Career & Technical High School’s innovative educational model and trauma-responsive practices, as well as the compassionate and talented staff who dedicate themselves to the success of each and every student, this school is capable of transforming the concept of high school into a more engaging and adaptive experience for everyone in the learning community. Here, relationships come first, students’ and teachers’ voices have power, and school leadership takes all perspectives and needs into account when planning for the future. Due to our smaller student population and monthly scheduling system, Paladin quickly adapts to meet community needs, ensuring that resources are present where and when they can make the greatest impact.

Paladin uses an innovative and holistic approach to meet the needs of each student. We understand that food, shelter, clothing, access to healthcare, safety, respect, and a sense of belonging are prerequisites to social, emotional, and academic growth. Through our trauma-responsive, social emotional learning, and restorative practice approach, Paladin students learn personal responsibility, self-confidence, and the importance of being engaged in community. In order to achieve our vision, we will continue to reinforce the relationships between our students and staff and will work ceaselessly to deliver equitable education to all.

It is for these reasons, among many others, that Paladin has become a leader in the charter school community as well as the greater educational community at large. The results of Paladin’s efforts can be seen in the success of each year’s graduating class, the passion of its staff, and the impact that Paladin has had on other schools and educators throughout the state and nation.
