Minnesota Voters Alliance

The Minnesota Voters Alliance is committed to protecting the rights of all eligible voters in Minnesota regardless of party affiliation. Along with that commitment comes the responsibility to ensure that ineligible ballots and illegal election procedures do not disenfranchise legitimate voters.

MVA is currently the primary plaintiff in three active lawsuits against 1) the city of Minneapolis, 2) Lake County, and 3) the counties of Olmsted and Ramsey, all for illegally processing absentee ballots in the 2020 general election. A favorable ruling on MVA’s behalf, in any of these, would dramatically improve election procedures across the state and could significantly impact the outcome of the 2022 midterm elections in Minnesota.

We are targeting additional cities and counties, as well as the Secretary of State in our continuing fight for party balance on absentee ballot boards and in early voting centers.
