Minneapolis College of Art and Design

A nonprofit organization

11 donors

For more than 100 years, students at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) have influenced society and culture in ways that only artists, designers, and creatives can. Today we ask for your support for scholarships because the financial burdens are affecting many of our students and their families.

       - Over 40% of MCAD students come from PELL-Grant-Eligible families (household income of under $50,000).

       - 27% of our freshmen class are first-generation students.

       - 24% of undergraduate students receive some sort of assistance from Learning Support.

       - 98% of students receive some form of financial assistance.

Offering a transformative education to students of all backgrounds remains a top priority, no matter what their financial situation is. Your generous donation could be the difference between a deferred dream and a realized ambition for so many eager, prospective students who don’t have the means to attend college. Your support could be the necessary fuel behind the next generation of creative leaders who will imagine a better, more inspiring tomorrow.
