Celebrate Voyageurs 50th Anniversary by helping us raise $50,000 to safeguard the future of Minnesota's National Park

Thanks to a generous $25,000 match, your gift will have twice the impact for Voyageurs Conservancy

Voyageurs Conservancy funds critical programs and projects at Voyageurs National Park to keep the park wild and welcoming forever. But the future of Voyageurs as we know it is being threatened by significant funding shortages, staffing cuts, and federal changes.

Now is not the time to take Voyageurs National Park for granted. Your national park needs you now more than ever.

Through the uncertainty, Voyageurs Conservancy has been – and will continue to be – a steady source of support for our park. We are passionate stewards and stargazers, anglers and paddlers, campers and birders, who want Voyageurs to remain a refuge for generations to come.

Double Your Gift Now!

Your gift, whether $5, $50 or more, gives Voyageurs hope for the next 50 years and beyond. Gifts of $100 or more will receive a beautiful Voyageurs National Park Landmark print, generously donated by Legendary Landmark Art Prints.

Why Donate to Voyageurs Conservancy?

  • To keep the park’s lands, waters, and skies wild forever by restoring wetlands, studying aquatic ecosystems, funding wildlife monitoring, and advocating to address environmental concerns
  • To build community by welcoming thousands of people to programs that connect them to the dark skies, conservation, science and sustainable recreation
  • To deepen collaboration with Tribal and First Nation communities to honor the history, culture, and connection of Indigenous peoples to the park
  • To inspire the next generation of park and environmental stewards by getting kids outside to learn in nature and expanding Voyageurs Classroom to provide more than 50,000 student experiences
  • To enrich park experiences by building permanent exhibits for the new Crane Lake Visitor Center, a launchpad for exploring Voyageurs, BWCA, and Quetico

Protect Minnesota's National Park for 50 More Years

Established on April 8, 1975, Voyageurs National Park is a primarily water-based park that spans more than 218,000 acres of lakes, forests and streams in northern Minnesota. The certified Dark Sky Park is home to some of the darkest skies in the world and host to a range of year-round activities, including boating, houseboating, paddling, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, wildlife viewing and more.

We can protect this treasured Minnesota natural wonder for another 50 years thanks to the commitment and generosity of many park supporters.

About Voyageurs Conservancy

Voyageurs Conservancy, the official charitable partner of the park, is a community of people dedicated to preserving, protecting, and sharing the unique experience of Minnesota’s only national park. Established in 1965 and celebrating 60 years, the Conservancy works directly with the National Park Service to support conservation and recreation projects, advance education and outreach, and protect the wild nature of Minnesota's only national park.

"The Conservancy contributes to the fundamental mission of the National Park Service, which is to share some of America's most important and beautiful places with current and future generations. Voyageurs is indisputably such a place."

- Brian Harmon, Acting Superintendent, Voyageurs National Park.
