Field-Trip Transportation

Valley View Elementary is dedicated to providing enriching, hands-on learning experiences for all our students. Our mission is to create opportunities that inspire curiosity, foster learning, broaden horizons, and relate school learning to the real world around them, but we need your help to make these experiences possible.

One of the most impactful ways we can bring classroom lessons to life is through educational field trips. These excursions provide hands-on learning and allow students to explore new places, cultures, and ideas they might not otherwise have the chance to experience. 

Each grade goes on one class field trip per year to an educational experience that offers scholarships to keep school costs down. However, many of our students and their families face transportation and financial barriers, making it difficult for them to participate in these valuable educational opportunities.

To overcome this challenge, we are seeking your support to fund the bus transportation costs for our school's upcoming class field trips. Your generous contribution will help cover the cost of buses, ensuring that all of our students, regardless of their financial situation, can attend and benefit from these educational opportunities.

A gift of any amount will make a meaningful difference. Here’s how your donation can help:

• $75 will cover half the cost of bus transportation for one class.
• $125 will pay for bus transportation for an entire class.
• $250 will fund bus transportation for a couple of classes.
• $500 will provide bus transportation for an entire grade level.
• $1,000 will support bus transportation for two entire grade levels.

Please consider checking with your employer to see if they offer matching donations to help your gift support even more students.
