I met Aaron a brave young man last Summer (2013), Aaron always has a bright smile that could light up the sky:) On Sept of 2012 Aaron was diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Xanthogranuloma, a very rare form of Histiocytosis that effects 1 in 10 Million children. Several tumors have affected his brain, eyes, bone and skin causing permanent damage to his vision, pituitary function, motor skills, balance and executive thought processes. He's been undergoing Chemotherapy at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN since Oct. 2012. On September 20th 2013, with Aaron's blessing, my buddy Mario & I pedaled 201 miles on our bicycles in a attempt to raise awareness for Aaron's condition. The ride was very well recieved in our local community. Now we are trying to help kids smile one pedal at a time:) Kids and Bicycles, match made in heaven!
