Since 2009 the Friends of the Wildflower Garden has provided transportation funding to bring school classes to the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden for a naturalist led experience. Bus transportation costs now average $260-$300 per trip. In 2023 the Friends funded $3.300 in bus costs and since 2009 over 5.500 children have participated.
City kids need this exposure to the natural world. Help the Friends fund their 2024 school year budget of $3,500. $30 will fund the cost of 3 student visits. $100 will fund ten student visits.
