My first work as a developer was through Minnesota Alliance With Youth in Minneapolis.
They provide opportunities to under-resourced young people, connecting them with youth workers and community organizations. This can mean anything from sending caring adults to challenged schools to work directly with students, supporting local organizations that, for example, give kids access to music equipment and art supplies, and organizing a youth-driven lobbying force, that introduces kids to political action in our state capitol
Minnesota Alliance With Youth is such a dynamic and impactful organization. I really believe in their work.
