Oh happy day! Firm Foundation Updates!
Please join me with deep exhale and hopeful smile as a form of our continued expression of gratitude and excitement for how the Lord continues to make a way and fulfill the visions he has given for this platform.
The Firm Foundation fundraising campaign that was launched specifically with the intent to improve daily operating, function and service to community. To date... here is what we have accomplished... through your support! Thank you!
- Drain Tile and catch basin.
- 4000 cubic yards of dirt fill added to grounds to improve drylot for horses.
- New paddocks added. New Shelters. Gutters. New fencing to replace old rusted cattle panels.
- New energy efficient doors on barns that we can open!
- New automatic waters for horses!
- New shelves in storage closet to organize our tools!
- Newly stained stalls.
Fresh coat of paint on front entry of barn.
Beautiful metal Hope Rides Sign at entry.
Manure wagon re-purposed to create a welcome flower bed. - Landscaping.... burms added to create protection to the grounds.
And today.... old paddock space was torn out to make way for a new community gathering and play space! We hope to gather with many of you in this new space!
This folks is what your contributions to the Firm Foundation campaign has helped to make possible to date. Thank you!
It is with uncontainable gratitude that I have the opportunity to share that in June of 2017 Hope Rides received an extraordinary gift of ranch property. The property where Hope Rides had been running its programs for the past 8 years was officially given to Hope Rides, further empowering the outreach of Hope Rides to move forward in fulfillment of its mission.

MOVING AHEAD
As we now step into operating owners and stewards of the ranch grounds we are preparing for the important work ahead. This includes dealing with deferred maintenance projects needed to improve every aspect of operations at the ranch. We want to be good stewards of this gift and are prepared to do the work ahead. In such, we are inviting you to sow seed at Hope Rides and help us literally build the foundation to grow and serve all who step foot on the ranch.
OUR ASK
Phase 1: A Firm Foundation
The funds raised here will be used to support work that needs to be done to the grounds at the ranch. We need to dig deep to lay a firm foundation for the future of Hope Rides.
The immediate project need is in the install of drain tile. This will correct water flow to improve the living conditions for the animals, work conditions for the volunteers and safety conditions for equipment use.
Phase 2: A Hedge of Protection
A secondary need at the ranch is replacing old rusted fencing with new equine and human friendly fencing.
Plans are also in the works to create an outdoor fellowship area on the north side of the ranch and trees are an integral part of this plan. Do you have coniferous trees or lilac bushes on your property that would love a new home at Hope Rides? We would love to have them on the ranch to flourish and provide a hedge of protection around the property.
