Bringing Comfort & Joy to those in need

You might not know it, but North Star Therapy Animals is much more than just therapy dogs.

We  bring Comfort & Joy to hospitals, schools, hospice, care centers, libraries, corporations and special events through a verity of animal species.

Reese's, above, is just one of 7 alpaca/llama therapy animals on our team.   We also have  7 cats, 3 rabbits, 2 miniature horses, 4 guinea pigs and more than 100 dogs.  And in December, we're hoping to welcome our first donkey.

You might also not know that we are an all-volunteer organization and we receive about 40 requests for visits (most are for recurring visits) each month.  If you do the math, you'll see that we need to develop many more volunteers in order to fill the need.

This November, North Star Therapy Animals is raising  money so that we can provide more comfort & joy by increasing our number of volunteers.    Funds are needed to marketing, training, facility rental, evaluations and website/social media.
