Our mission is to enhance the capacity of youth and adults with cognitive/developmental disabilities to become contributing members of their community.

Southside Services has been providing services to youth and adults with developmental disabilities for the past 47 years. Our agency is rooted in a strengths and relationship-based service philosophy that recognizes people's abilities and values full community integration. We offer three programs (Community Connections, Therapeutic Recreation, and School Based Connections) to our clients that all focus on individual needs and promote independence.

One of our main goals of our Therapeutic Recreation Program is to involve our clients in their community and offer opportunities for socialization. Now that the safety measures from Covid-19 have eased up, Southside Services is trying hard to get our clients together again and experience their community in a safe way. All donations received will directly benefit our clients whether it's by reducing their up-front program costs, contributing to the cost of program supplies, or contributing to our gas fund to support our transportation service. Your donation today could provide a free community outing to one (or many!) of our clients. Anything helps, even just $10! From November 1st-16th, GiveMN is offering Daily $1,000 Golden Tickets as well as $250 prizes for each organization that receives donations.
