Double your gift to hungry Central Minnesotans
- "Ashli" was sexually abused as a child and kicked out of her house as a teen. She's trying to make a life for herself all on her own.
- "Elsie's" granddaughter has a terminal illness. She is supporting her daughter in every way she can.
- "Joe" lost his job and while he's looking for a new one, is struggling to provide for his growing family.
Each of these REAL people came to Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf in 2017. You can make a difference in their lives and the lives of the thousands of hungry people who seek our help by giving to Catholic Charities during the annual Charity Challenge.
This Central Minnesota tradition has become a passion for Norman C. Skalicky, the chairman and CEO of Stearns Bank. “To see the generosity of our community is just incredible,” Skalicky said. “Stearns Bank has always been passionate about giving back to our community, and it is just great to see the response from our community during this season. We are able to help more families than ever!”
The Skalicky Foundation matches every dollar donated to three area food shelves (up to $100,000) each holiday season. Donations for the Charity Challenge need to be received by December 31, 2017.
