An affiliate of the Southwest Initiative Foundation, the Montevideo Area Community Foundation benefits the Montevideo area in Minnesota.

Mission Statement
To inspire generosity and to promote philanthropy that benefits the Montevideo area, now and in the future.

Awarded grants totaling $7,400

City of Montevideo to support public art by placing one public art piece each year in the community

ISD #129 - Montevideo to help the Montevideo Swim Club purchase two swim blocks for the high school pool

Montevideo Parent Teacher Student Association for display screens for the annual Letters and Art Night event that promotes literacy and arts in school

Our Saviors Lutheran Church to provide caregiver support meetings, educational sessions and visits in Montevideo, Milan and Clara City
