Franciscan Community Volunteers
Project for FRANCISCAN SISTERS OF LITTLE FALLS MINNESOTA

Let service change your world!

Franciscan Community Volunteers is a post-graduate, long-term, Franciscan volunteer program for young adults, ages 21-30, who are seeking an authentic way to live an integrated life of faith and service in the world.

The program provides an experience of faith, simplicity, service and solidarity with the poor. These pillars are the foundation:

·         Community

·         Service

·         Franciscan spirituality

Modeled on the example of Saints Francis and Clare, volunteers dedicate themselves to a year of living in community and working full time in nonprofit agencies that serve the needs of people living on the margins of society. This year, volunteers have been placed with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aide, Boys & Girls Club-Southside and Rural Aids Action Network.

Franciscan Community Volunteers are committed to making a difference and letting faith guide their actions throughout the year. Since its beginnings in 2009, over 40 young adults have availed themselves of the program and provided over 50,000 hours to nonprofit organizations serving the needs of people living in and around St. Cloud.

FCV seeks funding for spiritual retreats and education awards. Thank you for supporting Franciscan Community Volunteers with your generous donation!
